Our story
Wash by Cityclapr started in Abuja with one stubborn idea: a car wash in Nigeria could feel like the showroom you bought the car from. No spinning brushes, no bucket of grey water shared between ten cars, no guessing what you would be charged at the end. Just a properly trained team, clean water, fresh microfibre for every vehicle, and a price list on the wall.
What began as a premium hand wash grew into a restoration centre. Customers asked us to fix what other washes had left behind — swirl marks, faded trim, cloudy headlights, sticky interiors — so we invested in paint correction, ceramic coating, deep interior work and professionally fitted window tint. Today a car can arrive tired and leave measurably better than it was, not just cleaner.
Kaduna came next, at Galaxy Mall, built to the same standard as Jabi so that a member's car gets the same finish in either city. Both centres have a lounge and café, because waiting well is part of the experience. And around it all is Washnation — the membership that turned a wash into a habit, and our customers into the community that keeps both bays full.

Respect for the car
Fresh mitts, separate wheel kits, no brushes, no rushing a hot panel. We treat a ten-year-old saloon the way we treat a new Range Rover.

Our process
The Wash Standard
Six steps, in this order, on every single car — from a city runabout to a show car.

Pre-rinse
Loose dust and grit are flushed off under controlled pressure before anything touches the paint.

Two-bucket hand wash
Snow foam dwell, then a fresh microfibre mitt with grit guards — one bucket to wash, one to rinse.
03
Decontamination
Wheels, arches and bonded contamination handled with dedicated chemistry and a separate wheel kit.
04
Interior
Vacuum, brush agitation, dashboard and trim dressed matte, glass cleaned inside and out.
05
Microfibre dry
Plush drying towels plus a blower through shuts, badges and grilles so nothing drips or spots.
06
Final inspection
The car is checked under light by a supervisor before the keys come back to you.

We wash with controlled-volume rinsing and rinseless chemistry where the finish allows, so a full hand wash uses a fraction of the water a hose-and-brush wash needs.
